People usually imagine Croatia as a sunny country where temperatures never lower below digits that are pleasant for swimming. However, that is not so. The country’s climate greatly changes in winter months, and snow is never a real surprise. Yet, Croatia under white layer can be equally beautiful and entertaining as its summer counterpart, especially in highland region of Gorski Kotar and Lika.
